\u00a1Lxs participantes est\u00e1n en el centro de Transeuropa! Estamos muy emocionadxs de que puedas participar con nosotrxs en esta edici\u00f3n del Festival en la ciudad de Madrid.<\/p>\n

Miles de personas han participado y creado Transeuropa en la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada y una vez m\u00e1s, activistas y artistas de toda Europa se reunir\u00e1n con ciudadanxs de la ciudad para crear e intercambiar iniciativas para una Europa alternativa.<\/p>\n

Creemos que es muy\u00a0importante que lxs participantes est\u00e9n ah\u00ed todo el tiempo para asegurar la creaci\u00f3n y el desarrollo de una comunidad que pueda crecer durante toda la semana de Transeuropa.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Hay muchas maneras de participar en TRANSEUROPA Festival. Puede seleccionar uno o m\u00e1s de las siguientes en funci\u00f3n de lo que mejor se adapte a ti:<\/p>\n

Participa en TRANSEUROPA OPEN<\/span><\/h3>\n

Activistas y artistas est\u00e1n invitadxs a organizar un acto de apertura descentralizado en su ciudad para Transeuropa el 21 de octubre. Se les proporcionar\u00e1 apoyo econ\u00f3mico\u00a0y de asesoramiento para desarrollar los eventos dentro de los tres temas principales de Transeuropa: Europa como Refugio, Ciudades del Cambio y los Comunes. La lista de eventos confirmados en las ciudades seleccionadas est\u00e1 disponible aqu\u00ed.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

Participa como voluntarix<\/span><\/h3>\n

Todos y todas pueden ser voluntarixs en Transeuropa antes y durante el Festival de Madrid. Lxs voluntarixs recibir\u00e1n almuerzos, y los gastos de viaje dentro de la ciudad ser\u00e1n reembolsados. Gracias a incre\u00edbles voluntarixs en pasadas ediciones, TRANSEUROPA se ha desarrollado como comunidad de personas comprometidas e\u00a0interesadas en actuar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de las fronteras. Manda tu aplicaci\u00f3n para participar en\u00a0<\/span>talleres<\/span><\/h3>\n

Facilitadorxs profesionalxs procedentes de toda Europa organizar\u00e1n workshops de un d\u00eda con diferentes estructuras dependiendo de los participantes. Algunos ser\u00e1n en ingl\u00e9s, y algunos en espa\u00f1ol. Los talleres tendr\u00e1n lugar en Madrid los jueves 26 y viernes 27 de octubre. La fecha l\u00edmite para solicitar becas ha pasado el 30 de julio, pero si se est\u00e1s en Madrid o est\u00e1s dispuestx a financiar tu viaje y alojamiento, puedes registrarte para participar.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Algunos de nuestrxs participantxs que reciben becas para asistir a todo el Festival recibir\u00e1n el almuerzo durante los d\u00edas del taller. Si quieres comer con nosotrxs, podr\u00e1s hacerlo dando una peque\u00f1a contribuci\u00f3n en el momento.<\/p>\n

Intersectionality in practice ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

\nHere is a chance to move beyond the theory of intersectionality by finding ways to practice social justice organising with more rigour and competence. We will think about how better connect our struggles in our fight towards long-term change, and take steps to make your activism -and your life- more intersectional.\u00a0Through this workshop participants will gain a working understanding of intersectional organising; they will create a set of commitments for relating to their own work\/life and will access tools and exercises to build their confidence in this area. <\/span><\/p>\n

iHopp - digital storytelling ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

This workshop is part of the Creative Europe-funded project Rebuild Refuge Europe.\u00a0<\/strong>It aims at creating a dialogue platform to facilitate integration of new arrivals and the local community members. During two rounds of workshops in Gothenburg, more than 20 participants shared their stories. We would like to screen a selection of the digital stories and share the reflection and learning from our experience. We will invite participants to share their stories as well. <\/span><\/p>\n

Community strategies against institutional racism ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Create a network of municipalities to develop tools and share experiences against institutional racism. Find common strategies of disobedience against racist policies from state governments among activists, human rights lawyers, cultural agents, scholars and councillors. Create a pan-european anti-racist movement with a common agenda.<\/p>\n

Building a Local Artists-at-Risk (AR) Residency Network ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

A workshop by and for all who want to work with artists, critics, curators and theorists who have to flee their country of origin. These art practitioners are \u201cat risk\u201d for a reason – they are living on the rough edges of the permissible in their home countries: artistically, culturally, socially, politically. Building a local AR-Residency network involves artistic, activist, legal, psychological and curatorial partners and infrastructures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Funding the Cooperative City ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

The research and networking project \u201cFunding the Cooperative City\u201d aims at exploring the emerging landscape of collaborative economy initiatives: Faced with austerity measures, privatisation and financialisation community groups and citizen initiatives started to organise their own services and spaces. These initiatives are increasingly using local communities, crowd resources and new, ethical financial actors to invest in their activities<\/span>. In this workshop participants will not only \u00a0learn about these emerging community finance initiatives \u00a0but will be supported in evaluating their own economic and financial needs, and identify their potential partners. Understand points of connection in order to create an Europe-wide tissue of community finance<\/span><\/p>\n

The Brexit Crisis: Building TransEuropean Perspectives ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

This workshop will seek to develop dialogues between activists across Europe, sharing experiences and perspectives. It will review the current state of Brexit negotiations, outline how progressive Remainers in the UK are challenging the nationalist and neoliberal agenda of their government, explore opportunities for common action, and reflect on the possibilities opening up for a better Europe. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mapping Cities of change ING <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

The examples of Spanish municipalism exemplify that cities are at the forefront of democratic innovation and resistance against austerity politics: Changing relationships between active citizenship, social movements and administration lead to new ways of doing politics. After a short introduction we will discuss on how to use and further develop a digital mapping tool for cities of change which has been co-created by European Alternatives. How can we understand the mapping itself as a process of commoning and use synergies between existing networks to gather information on examples of new municipalism? <\/span><\/p>\n
