CURATOR OF THE EXHIBITION ‘WOMEN’S TEXTS: FEMINIST ART FROM UKRAINE’

Born in 1973 in Kyiv. Graduated from the Ivan Trush Lviv College of Decorative and Applied Arts and the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Has worked as a theater artist, graphic designer, calligraphist and graphic artist. Has been working as a designer and curator with the Visual Culture Research Center since 2009. Her curatorial projects include the exhibitions “Childhood Uncensored” (2011), “Ukrainian Body” (2012), “Lockout” (2014) and the feminist projects “Motherhood” (2015), “What in me is Feminine?” (2015), and “TEXTUS. Embroidery, textile, feminism” (2017). Her artistic techniques include drawing, installations, photography, textile. She works with themes such as physicality, social exclusion, gender stereotypes in culture, the status and role of women.
